The new Ripmo is packed with new features: internal storage in the downtube, a flip chip for mixed wheels, a slacker head angle, and increased compatibility with coil suspension. We've also expanded our size options and added size-specific details—right down to the bottom bracket height.
EVERYTHING IS SIZE-SPECIFIC
Every rider deserves the same exceptional riding experience, regardless of their size or build. We use size-specific seat tube angles and suspension kinematics to deliver incredible balance and speed for all riders. Even the chainstay length and bottom bracket height are adjusted for each frame size.
5 SIZES
We've added a third size in the middle of the curve to offer a perfectly tailored fit. With 80% of our riders between 1.65m and 1.83m, we've introduced a new "Extra-Medium" size. The Extra-Medium (size 3) now sits in the middle of our range, while our size 5 remains the traditional XL.
FLIP IT
We've added more adjustability with a new flip chip: you can now ride with 29" or mixed 27.5"/29" (MX) wheels on all sizes, without compromising the geometry. Extra-Medium and larger sizes come with 29" wheels, while Small and Medium sizes come with MX wheels.
DW-LINK SUSPENSION
We continue to use the DW-Link suspension, critically acclaimed for its climbing efficiency and descending power; it sets the standard for modern mountain bikes.
Inspired by the race-proven HD6 design, the Ripmo now benefits from a progressive suspension rate compatible with coil springs and a shorter caliper, making it compatible with almost all coil shocks.
Our size-specific kinematics ensure that every bike pedals exceptionally while remaining calm and stable on the most demanding trails.
INTERNAL STORAGE WITHIN THE FRAME
Free your back and store your gear directly on your bike with our integrated storage system. The latch opens and closes easily, even in cold and muddy conditions, while wearing gloves. The hatch is water-resistant, silent, and very robust.
We collaborated with Cotopaxi to create a set of two inner bags for your snacks, tools, or whatever you need. Cotopaxi is known for its quality construction and sustainable practices; the bags are made from offcuts and unsold stock, making each bag colorful and unique.
