Our Maui bikes feature a pedal assist system combined with a handlebar-mounted throttle. The pedal assist sensor (PAS) tells the controller to run the motor through 5 levels of assistance, giving you a boost based on the level you choose. You can also use the on-demand throttle to get the power you need for instant acceleration or a push uphill, and enjoy an all-electric ride if you need a little help.
